The flaw: Edge chipping at the upper bass-side C-bout corner

There is significant edge chipping at the upper bass-side C-bout corner, down to bare splintered spruce. Two things matter about it: it does not penetrate into the interior, and the top-to-rib seam underneath it is still closed and glued. Strings are fair: the G is the tiredest of the four, so plan on a fresh set.

What's good

Bridge is up and the cello is strung. Ribs and back are clean with no open seams anywhere; I checked this specifically, because two of the other cellos do have open seams and this one does not.
