Every unit we list goes across the same bench first, and that bench takes in repair work too: lab instruments and pipettes, two-way radios, networking gear, computers and vintage audio. Diagnosis first, a written quote before anything gets opened up, and an honest "not worth it" when that's the real answer.
01 / What we repair
If we sell it, we can most likely fix it. These are the groups we sell, and the kind of work each one usually needs.
HPLC & chromatography
Agilent 1100 and 1200 series modules: pumps, vacuum degassers, autosamplers, column compartments, sampler thermostats, and diode-array and fluorescence detectors. Leak and seal work, vacuum and pressure tests, heat and cool checks, and a bench run before it goes back.
Pipettes & liquid handling
We take in manual and electronic pipettes, pipette controllers and microplate sealers for diagnosis and repair: leaks, stiff or sticking action, and electronic battery and charging faults, with a function check before return. We don't issue accredited calibration certificates; if you need one, we will say so up front.
Balances & bench instruments
Analytical and precision balances, stereo microscopes and fiber-optic illuminators, and other benchtop lab instruments. Power and display faults, intake inspection, and a full function test.
Test & measurement
Bench multimeters, signal generators and RF test sets. Power-on and self-test faults, battery-backed memory replacement, and a full self-test before return.
Two-way radios
Motorola portable and mobile radios, control heads, microphones and chargers. Bench testing, no-power and no-boot triage, and microphone cable re-termination.
Networking
Access points, switches, cellular routers and PoE gear. Firmware recovery and reflashing, factory reset and configuration wipe, and a bench test as a working unit.
Computers & laptops
Laptops, desktops and tablets: no-boot diagnosis, drive and SSD replacement, locked-drive recovery, thermal and power fixes, and clean OS rebuilds. Board-level repair where it is economical.
Vintage hi-fi & pro audio
Turntables, cassette decks, reel-to-reel, receivers, amplifiers and studio monitors. Belt and idler replacement, power-supply re-capping, cleaning and lubrication, alignment, and channel and noise testing so both sides actually play.
AV & office electronics
Projectors, CRT monitors and electric typewriters. Carrier and stepper service on typewriters, and picture calibration on displays.

On your go-ahead, the fix happens on the bench and gets tested like any unit we'd sell.

Packed properly (foam and double-boxed for anything fragile or heavy) and shipped back insured.
