Description
The case only. Read that twice: it is EMPTY. No objectives, no canisters, nothing in the wells. Clasp and hinges work, velvet is clean, and the original factory inspection sticker is still on it.

- Nickel clasp latches and releases cleanly. Both hinges are intact and the lid opens and closes properly and sits square when shut. The leatherette covering is clean and unpeeled, and all corners are intact with no crushing or splitting.
- Cosmetic
- Navy/black leatherette over board with the Bausch & Lomb triangle logo embossed in silver on the lid. The gold factory QC sticker reading INSPECTED 39 is still on the front face. That is original and I have deliberately left it in place. Interior is royal-blue fitted velvet, lightly rubbed but sound throughout.
- Tested
- Clasp latched and unlatched repeatedly. Engages and releases cleanly every time. · Both hinges worked through the full range; the lid sits square and flush when closed. · Interior velvet checked across every well and channel for tears, bald spots, and lifting. None found, only light overall rub. · Leatherette covering and all eight corners checked for peeling, splitting, and crushing. None found. · Photographed across six frames, inside and out, so you can see every compartment before you buy.

- NOT a sealed or airtight case. It is a storage case, not a desiccator. Do not buy it expecting a moisture barrier. · No key, lock, or carrying strap. This pattern of case has none. · Age is NOT documented. This is mid-century leatherette-and-velvet construction, not an antique dovetailed wood box, and I have no paperwork dating it beyond that. · Fit to any specific objective is NOT guaranteed. Measure against the photographed wells if you are matching it to particular glass.
