Description
A complete, tested bench comparator setup: a Mitutoyo ABSOLUTE Digimatic indicator (code 543-476B, model ID-C1025EXB, 1" / 25.4 mm range, .0005" / 0.01 mm resolution, inch/mm switchable) mounted on a Mitutoyo No. 7004 comparator stand with a 2-1/4" flat anvil and fine adjust. Bench-tested together on this stand: it zeroes, repeats to within one count, holds its ABSOLUTE origin through a power cycle, and counts cleanly through the full inch. A fresh SR44 cell is fitted. Unpack it, set it on the bench, and measure.

- Tested working as a set. The indicator's display is complete with no missing or dim segments. Zeroed on this stand's anvil it reads 0.0000", and after the spindle is lifted and released it returns to 0.0000" repeatedly, with no more than one count (.0005") of scatter. It retains its absolute origin through a full power-off and power-on with no re-zeroing, counts continuously through the whole 1" travel and back, and agrees with a known reference to within one count. Inch/mm conversion and the MODE, SET and DATA buttons all respond. On the stand, the arm slides and locks solid on the column, the fine-adjust wheel moves it smoothly, and the stem clamp closes on the indicator's 3/8" stem.
- Cosmetic
- Light shop wear throughout. The indicator nameplate is fully legible: Code 543-476B, Serial 11236790, Model ID-C1025EXB, Made in Japan. The stand keeps its Mitutoyo nameplate and its CODE NO. 7004 tag. The white tie-wrap visible around the spindle contact in some photos is packing material, not part of the item, and is removed before shipping.
