- Powers up, the LCD and keypad respond, the heater engages and the displayed temperature climbs and holds against the setpoint, and the shaker platform runs from the front panel. Time, RPM and temperature setpoints are all adjustable and the RUN/STOP control works.
- Cosmetic
- Good used lab condition. The housing is the usual off-white with light handling marks and faint shop soiling; the lid closes and latches square on its hinges. The 4-position platform and the two shaker clamp bars are clean and undamaged, with no cracks, corrosion or spill residue in the well.
- Tested
- Applied power. Unit boots, backlit LCD reads clearly, all keypad buttons respond · Temperature: setpoint entered and raised; the heater engaged and the ACTUAL reading tracked upward toward the SET value · Shaker: platform runs and stops on command from the front panel · Timer and RPM setpoints step up and down correctly on the display · Lid hinges, latch and the four plate positions checked by hand

- NOT calibrated or certified. No traceable verification of temperature accuracy against a reference thermometer · Shaker speed was NOT verified against a tachometer; the displayed RPM is the instrument's own readout · No extended soak or long unattended run. Testing was a functional bench check, not a burn-in · Not tested with microplates loaded, and not tested with any assay or application · No power supply was included with the unit, so testing was done on a shop supply, not the OEM adapter
