- Plugs into 115 V and powers up. You can hear it come alive and the LCD backlight illuminates. Because nothing can be read on the screen, no function beyond power-on has been confirmed. Sold as-is for parts or repair.
- Cosmetic
- The right-hand side cover panel is missing, so that side of the chassis is open and the internals are exposed (shown in the photos). Everything visible inside is intact and tidy. No burnt components, no corrosion, no hacked wiring, and the pneumatics, drive, boards and cabling all look untouched. The remaining panels, frame and lift handle are clean with light lab wear. The unit carries a Biodirect asset tag on the front from a previous refurbisher.

- Anything on the display. No image, so no menu, status or error text can be read · The heat-seal cycle itself (the seal press is pneumatic and needs 70-90 psi clean dry shop air, which was not connected) · Sealing plate heater and temperature control · Plate gripper travel and the seal-loading drawer under power · Firmware, self-test, and the serial / automation control interface · Whether the fault is the LCD module, its cable, or the controller board. Not diagnosed
